Louise Connor is a talented and commercially focused senior HR professional with over 20 years generalist experience in international HR.

She is highly effective with an accomplished track record of delivery against all aspects of strategic and operational HR. Louise covers all industries but has recently specialised in the Banking and Finance sectors, overseeing several large business transformation projects involving large teams and multiple jurisdictions.

Louise has exceptional people skills and is passionate about learning and development. She believes in the value of establishing a high performance business culture that celebrates success and provides the platform for individual and teams to achieve their potential.

Before launching HR Strategic, Louise held several senior HR roles in international blue chip organisations.

Louise is a fully qualified graduate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.

Chris Connor
Managing Director

Chris is regarded as an inspirational and highly self-motivated business leader with a successful, recognised and respected track record that extends over almost 30 years.

Having spent a large part of his career with Barclays (which included the role as Managing Director of Barclays Private Clients International with responsibility for more than 2000 people in 11 locations worldwide) he has since been instrumental in setting up several smaller successful island based businesses.

Chris is proven in all aspects of strategic and tactical management and is highly skilled in team and strategic leadership. His personal model for how to succeed in business can be summed up in a few simple sentences;

  • Which permits greater investment in the business and its people.
